Verve is India's leading luxury and lifestyle monthly magazine. Each print issue features four captivating section openers. For the Oct-Nov 2019 edition, the theme of celebration was chosen, and the task at hand was to create still-life images that would evoke an after-the-celebration mood.

During our initial briefing, the Verve team described the tone of voice for the section openers as a moment that has passed. This narrative became a constant mood while composing and photographing the still-life images.
The four section openers were style, nerve, scapes, and features. The final images evoked a sense of nostalgia, capturing what remains after a celebration. A playful touch of red added vibrancy to the compositions. Each image told a unique story through a curated collection of elements, such as jewellery, books, and ticket stubs, creating a delightful mess to engage the audience.
