Verve approached us for an interview regarding the work aesthetics, inspiration and future plans for The Leaf Bowl. Along with the interview, the brief involved creating a photo essay.

In this exclusive feature and one of the most memorable projects, we photographed a collection of six inviting fruit-based recipes, capturing the richness of their natural colours in a minimal style. The photographs, along with the interview, were published in the Nov-Dec 2018 issue of Verve.
The idea behind the shoot was to focus on the simplicity of ingredients. The basic mood was to embrace the familiarity of fruits and their versatility and ability to transform even the simplest of dishes into a great meal.
